This place is absolutely jaw-dropping! The views of the river and castle are mind-blowing. The house is immaculate, warm, and spacious. The beds are super comfortable and we slept like babies. The location is perfect, with shops and a supermarket just a 2-minute walk away. The bath and shower are fantastic. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and has provided everything we needed, from tea/coffee to a Bluetooth speaker. We loved waking up to the stunning views and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a super, incredible, and unforgettable stay!

The bathroom with a shower was perfect for a quick rinse after a day of exploring. It had everything I needed to freshen up and the water pressure was just right. As a low-maintenance traveler, I really enjoyed the simplicity and convenience of the bathroom.
The bathroom could use an extra mirror for getting ready, but that's just my personal preference.

The accommodation had a fantastic layout and beautiful decoration. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfy beds. The living room had plenty of comfy couches. The location was convenient, with great views from the back windows. It had everything we needed for our yearly get together. Barnard Castle itself had lovely places to eat and drink, as well as beautiful scenery for walks. The owner was helpful and kept us well informed.
